Hello another English speaking playgroup is taking place at mytilene every monday....the parents are usually foreign nationals married to greek citizens so all the children are bilingual ages vary from a few months old to about 6 yrs old.

It is every monday at 6:30 at the free evengelical church at mytilene- everyone is welcome. For more info contact me via personal message.

FRIENDS' CORNER

A non-profit, parent-run club established in 1980

Daily playgroup and club for 0-5 year olds and their families

Do you want a fun place for your little one to learn, play and meet friends in which parents are welcome and can guide their child through their special early years? Come to Friends Corner for a visit and enjoy a day at a parent-run, non-profit playgroup/family club. Your little one will love the daily programme of puzzles, outside play, toys, homemade playdough, art project time, story time and sing-along. The language spoken is English. If you are a non-native English speaker then it is a perfect opportunity for you to practise and for your child to have his first taste of English.

Friends' corner is open daily from 9:30-12:30. Visitors are very welcome! Monthly membership entitles you to daily visits and keys to the premises for private use Other types of membership are available. Visitors may attend our nursery program twice monthly. Lastly, we have numerous parties throughout the year for traditional celebrations such as Halloween, Christmas, Carnival, Easter and of course many birthday parties!

We are open:

Family club: Mon-Fri 9:30-12:30 (members stay later when weather good)

International evening club: Wednesdays 17:30-20:00

Yoga for mummies: Mondays 20:00

Monkeynastix: Thursdays 18:00-19:30

Coffee Mornings: Saturdays 10:30-13:30

Babywearing meetings: once monthly

LLL meetings (breastfeeding support):once monthly

Hi! I just found out about your group. I'm Greek American and have a 3-year-old son. He only speaks Greek at this point but would love to introduce him to the English language through play. Do you still have meetings? Are there any afternoon activities? Please, let me know! Monica
